The main concept of the project is Three-Dimensional Landscape; which was achieved by breaking down the monumental architectural scale of El Pablenou area and making it more humane. In addition, it allowed all three levels of scale (the people, the landscape and the architecture) coexist within one another maintaining the individuality of each. Typology of each of the buildings relate back to the existing facade of the textile factory. Open-plan, warehouse typology - are the two main characteristic of the factory that established the main datum to the design development of the new modules. The whole project is following a strong grid, which was initiated by the angle of the old factory, which relates back to the previously existed grid of the El Pablenou. The arrangement of the modules was based on the type of program served in a particular module; as well as change in length, which was based on the amount of functions occupying one story. The yellow strap that exists in each of those modules functions as a spacial divider of programs and defines the vertical circulation.
